Dr. Rania Mousa General Medicine
Hunger and appetite are regulated by complex interactions among our endocrine, digestive, and neurologic systems, each of which sends chemical signals to the brain to tell it when you are hungry and full.

Excessive hunger is characterized by the need for increased food intake above your usual caloric needs. It may be caused by disorders in the systems that regulate appetite and blood sugar or by circumstances such as pregnancy.

since your excessive hunger always coming with a sore throat and insomnia which are symptoms and signs of fatigue ,chronic fatigue syndrome is a good example of an illness that you may not know much about, but that may have a huge impact on your life.

The signs and symptoms of fatigue and excessive hunger might be unexplained pain ,swollen lymph node ,sore throat, inability to concentrate, weakness, diarrhea ,dizzeness,...

Causes might be be attributed to endocrine conditions, hypoglycemia, or psychological factors.

>HORMONAL causes might be :
Diabetes
Graves’ disease (type of hyperthyroidism excessive thyroid hormone production)
Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid)
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
Pregnancy
PMS

>>PSYCHOLOGICAL causes might be :
Anxiety
Depression
Eating disorders

>>MEDICATIONS (including antianxiety medications, antidepressants, and steroids).
Stress

SO watch other symptoms accompanied or associated with the excessive feeling of hunger and fatigue ,other symptoms might tell much about the cause and give clue for the treatment or blood tests needed .
something to point to is do these symptoms comes out at the last 10 days before a period coming ,if yes ,then it might be a part of premenestual syndrome (pms)symptoms
Otherwise ,you can check with a doctor for further tests to figure the above related causes.
