What kind of allergy test
Nov 24, 2015

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Respiratory allergies which cause chronic symptoms of runny nose, itchiness, congestion, post-nasal drip, cough, and propensity to easily contract respiratory infections, can be detected by running a test panel either in the blood, or the skin. These panels usually include the well-known culprits that commonly cause respiratory allergies, such as pollen, dust mite, animal dander  and so on so forth. Your doctor will determine which test is best for your case. A such, you are advised to seek the opinion of an allergy specialist (allergologist).
