IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion. if all tests are done and turned out to be normal, so IBS is the diagnosis. with time you will be the doctor of yourself, so you will know what hurts before doing it. Like food, activities, weather conditions, even type of clothes. and bit by bit you will avoid triggers that cause your bowel irritation. Coeliac disease caused by reaction to the gluten protein found in wheet and other food might be a possible cause. you can rule it out by doing a blood test of serology of Antiendomysial antibodies of the immunoglobulin A, and endoscopy with biopsy. if positive just avoid gluten in your food and you will be fine if Not back to IBS.
