Beans, Cabbage, Lettuce, Brussels sprouts, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Asparagus, Carbonated drinks, Beer and Fruits all cause intestinal gas especially when taken in large quantities.
To avoid gas eat and drink slowly and take your time to swallow less air. Avoid drinking through a straw. avoid chewing gum so you don't swallow air more often than normal. Don't smoke so you don't also inhale and swallow air.
