What is the treatment of having a sore gum. What are the causes?

Usually, a sore gum is an aphtous ulcer that is viral. Symptomatic treatment candidosis may give a sore gum, treatment should be done with anti-fongic.

Before heading to heavy medical treatment, you might consider the fact that it could be a mild to severe case of gingivitis. In such a case treatment is not medicinal but hygienic.

So your dentist , once he confirms gingivitis, would recomment flossing, brushing your teeth gently twice a day, gargaling in a certain mouthwash (not Listerine, but something medical)
