Yes Dr, protruding eyes and short breath. So the Dr asked for the tests to make sure if thyroid could be the cause. Am afraid her thyroid could be swollen. I had it removed because it was swollen

Thyroid gland enlargement is assessed by a physical exam performed by the physician - the fact that the thyroid hormones' levels are within normal range exclude the possibility of thyroiditis, and the fact you have had thyroiditis does not necessarily imply that your sister has this condition as well, although there is a hereditary element to it. I urge you to have your sister seen by a pediatric endocrinologist ( a children's doctor with a subspecialty in endocrinology) for more thorough evaluation.
