What tests should I do to make sure that my skin won't make any allergic reaction towards tattoo?
Apr 18, 2013

Dr. Rola Al Dhaybi Dermatology
Unfortunately there are no tests to be done. Doctors always advise not to do tattoos since most people will end up wanting to remove it later on. However, if you insist on making a tattoo then choose it with black color since it will be easier to remove it with laser.

Get a test patch done from the artist you have in mind a month in advance. If you don't develop a reaction, you should be able to handle the tattoo. However, in some cases reactions occur months and even years after the tattoo is completed
