You have to avoid food and fluid before bedtime. Also cigarettes, coffee, alcohol, chocolate and peppermint. And do not to take antacid one hour after meals at bedtime or as needed. Reduce fat in your diet, avoid tight clothes around the waist, avoid having the head lower or in the same level of the body.
