What are the symptoms and cure for migraine headaches?
May 16, 2014

Dr. Salim Saab Otolaryngology (ENT)
The symptoms of migraine are: violent headaches on one side often accompanied by nausea and vomiting, photophobia, constipation or diarrhea. The headache which was unilateral becomes generalized to head and neck. No real cure exists but symptoms can be alleviated with treatment.

I agree with my colleague.

If the attacks are frequent a long term treatment can be tried to decrease them.

All this should be discussed with your physician who may opt to give you a long term treatment or just a medication to cure the attack
