My 1.5 year old baby doesn't answer me when I call her. She says mama, baba but doesn't call me mama. She only makes sound to get my attentio. She watches TV & dances when there's music. What's wrong
I agree with Dr Saab you need to start by an exam to test the hearing (see an ENT specialist) and also you need to see a pediatrician to assess the developmental milestones (at what age she sat? walked? started talking? is she able to do catch stuff with both hands and alternate? does she point with her finger? can she run? she understands what you tell her?....etc). it could be a simple speech delay or could be related to other things..this is why it is important to assess her clinically and that you take her to a doctor.
