Theoretically speaking when you use a medical laser it should target only the treated skin problem and should not penetrate further. Thus, theoretically speaking lasers should be safe during pregnancy. However, since there are no studies proving the safety of lasers during pregnancy and since most of the treated lesions by laser are not emergencies, alot of Doctors prefer to delay laser treatments till after end of pregnancy.
