1) I hear my heart beats when my head is on the pillow 2) always my abdomen moves with the heart beats is this normal due to abdominal aorta ? Or these signs are a risk of cardiovascular disease ?

Dr. Rania Mousa General Medicine
The major artery coming out of the heart the aorta goes down into the abdomen. You might feel its pulsations that reflect the heart beat
This is your abdominal aorta pulsating. It is a normal feeling in healthy people, but can also be a sign of a major health risk
Aortic pulsations are normally visible and palpable in a skinny person due to less abdominal fat.

If a mass is present beside the pulse seen , and abdominal discomfort then aneurysm needs to be considered. An ultrasound sound exam is usually helpful in diagnosis.

And what you describe when sleeping on a pillow to be the heart beat beating is not the heart beat itself it is called a “pulsatile tinnitus.” and can be to different conditions depending on the cause, most of the time, pulsatile tinnitus is nothing to worry about. If it doesn’t go away on its own or becomes really bothersome, check with a doctor for further tests.
some thin anxious people can feel their pulse beating ,beside other causes such as thyroid problems .
